Your files
- Processed in memory, then gone. Standard uploads are processed in memory and never written to disk or storage. The bytes exist only for the duration of your request.
- Large files queue briefly. Uploads over the fast-lane size wait in a private queue while they process, then are deleted the moment your result is ready — minutes at most, and a daily sweep deletes anything abandoned.
- Never kept, never trained on, never shared. We do not retain your file content, use it to train models, or disclose it to anyone except as required by law.
What we process
- Account. When you sign in via the Astraea login hub, we keep your account identity (email, name, avatar), your plan, and your Paddle customer link so the product can serve you.
- Usage records. For each processed file we store counts only: the tool, the outcome, the duration, the byte sizes, and a timestamp. This is what powers quotas and your usage display. No file content, no filenames of your uploads beyond what is needed to serve the queued result.
- Payments. Billing is handled by Paddle as merchant of record. We never see or store your card details.
- This website. Public pages set no cookies and run no analytics. Signed-in pages recognize you through the login hub's session cookie.
Why we process it
To operate the service, enforce quotas, report your usage back to you, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We share data only with our infrastructure providers — Cloudflare (hosting, including the browser fleet that renders free-tier captions) and Paddle (billing) — and when required by law. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
File bytes are never retained beyond the processing window described above. Usage records are kept while needed for quotas, reporting, and operations.
Your rights
You may request a copy or deletion of your account and usage data at any time by emailing admin@astraeatech.dev.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Session tokens are stored only as hashes, and production data access follows least privilege.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page.
